Producer Description
The wines of Sardinia are not at the top of most people's list of must-haves, but this wine from the 4th generation producer Cardedu is exactly that. The local Monica grape dazzles here, making a wonderfully bright and crunchy wine filled with energy, yet brimming with class.
Dry, gently tannic and rustic with undeniably earthy notes. Brambly wild blackberry and dark cherry fruit backed with a barnyardy funk and subtle pipe tobacco finish. Best drunk lightly chilled as an aperitivo or with lighter meals of seafood, vegetables, or poultry.
