Chablis grows some of the purest Chardonnay in the world and this is an excellent example from this region. It opens with aromas of smoke and a flinty spiciness followed by green apple and pear. The body has fantastic complexity and depth showing unripe stone fruit, white peach with pear and melon hints that is all beautify balanced by a vibrant acidity. Truly a wine of bountiful character that is a pleasure to drink now but has so much to offer for the future.
