Crushed flowers, tobacco, roses and sweet red berries waft from the glass in Charlopin's 2011 Clos St. Denis. A delicate, fragrant wine, the 2011 is light on its feet and impeccably graceful from start to finish. Today, the Clos St. Denis is understated, almost deceptively so. The 2011 needs at least a few years in bottle but it is quite pretty, even at this early stage.
