Producer Description
From the deeply steep slopes of Condrieu, Domaine Faury farms these terraced vineyards with a deft and precise touch. The grapes are carefully picked, pressed, and fermentation takes place in steel tank. Part of the wine spends 11 months in large oak barrels on the lees. This classic version of this esteemed dry white wine is redolent yet restrained. Faury use a light hand, and the elegant wines they produce are decidedly old school.
Wine Advocate: 91-93 Points
Tasted from tank, the 2020 Condrieu is marginally less concentrated than the superb 2019 version while also being a bit fresher and livelier. Floral notes dominate, while the stone fruit and pineapple notes linger easily on the finish.
