Fun and seriousness join forces in this great vinicultural treasure. In a style that bridges the gap between crianza and reserva, fresh ripe berries and dark cherries are tempered with a subtly creamy chocolate core with hints of earthy mushroom and licorice. The tannins are rich but smooth, and are livened up by nice tartness characteristic of good Tempranillo. It will pair nicely with traditional lamb, beef, and mushroom risotto, but also succulent dark meat poultry dishes with savory tomato sauce. This wine is Kosher for Passover.
