Producer Description
Pale straw color with subtle greenish reflections. Aromas of white-fleshed stone fruit especially white peach plus ripe pear and soft floral hints in the background. This wine is vibrant with an elegant profile medium-bodied with round fruits and spicy notes on a lengthy finish.
Company Winzer Krems has its origin from the vintners' guild, which existed in the region since the mid Krems XV century. Today it is one of the most famous Austrian winemakers associations. Winzer Krems company owns vineyards, which are located in the valleys Kremstal and Wachau and cover an area of more than 1,000 hectares. Priority is given to two grapes - the variety Grüner Veltliner, which is used for the production of white wines, and Blauer Zweigelt variety for the production of red wines. The main business of the company is the production of white wines. They accounted for 72% of production. Most of the wine is delivered to the Austrian market, and only a third is exported. The company is focused on maintaining a high quality of wine and winemaking considers as an important part of the cultural life of the country.
